Upgrading the PSE-20
There are 2 cases:

You have bought the PSE-20 after October 10th 2022... so the necessary holes are already in position, you need just to mount the KIT-22

You have bought the PSE-20 before October 10th 2022... so you need to drill some holes in the X and Y blocks
You have bought the PSE-20 after October 10th 2022
You need to mount the stepper motors, the belts and the preconfigured boards, so watch this video...

Follow this video and download this file containing the positions and measures of the holes. After you have done with the drilling proceed to watch the other video (Mounting the KIT-22), you can jump to the 4th minute and 52 seconds.

The PSE-20 X bars are 37 cm. The PSE-22 X bars are 50cm, you can upgrade keeping the old bars or you can buy the longer ones.
To operate any PSE model, no matter if manual or automatic, does not require special ability, but it does require a little bit of practice to understand how to move and how to stop steadily in a place. The rotation can be controlled thanks to a rotary joint. The needle can rotate independently from the pipe connected to the vacuum pump. This is well shown in some videos in the media gallery. To release the component you will use a pedal switch
