Working with the PSE-20
To operate any PSE model, no matter if manual or automatic, does not require special ability, but it does require a little bit of practice to understand how to move and how to stop steadily in a position. Thanks to a rotary joint the needle can rotate independently from the pipe connected to the vacuum pump. To release the component you will use the pedal switch. To install the nozzle-needle on the connector, you need to screw it in by half spin into its internal thread.
To stop the nozzle over a pad precisely, you could try to hold the wheels with your thumbs...If you need more friction, you could try to increase the brake effect on the movement by the lower wheels' eccentric nuts. Give a look to the picture, then watch the videos.

There is a new pump, it is more efficient, powerful and quiet compared to the old pump.. it fixes the problem of the old pump in relation to sporadic lack of power and electromagnetic interference... it is enough to keep the pump to the very low minimum, increase the power if you need to lift a component misplaced on the solder-past...
